Be impeccable with your word

Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
This small paragraph carries so much weight and punch. It can be so simple, yet simple enough that it leaves thought for questions. It is thru questions that we ask ourselves, of how we can learn to be "Impeccable" with our words. How we use our words to show an expression of our self to our ownselves and those in our lives.

"Say only what you mean".-Do you fynd it hard to do this? Do we say yes, but only inside of ourselves really meant to say No? Do we fynd it hard or difficult at tymes to make a comment, yet the person that recieves what we say reacts indifferently? If so, how does that affect you?

"Avoid using the word to speak against yourself"-This is something we all do. Have you ever notice how we can be harsh or critical of ourselves? Have you ever gotten upset or bummed out because what you planned did not turned out excatly what the way you wanted?Have you ever noticed how we judge ourselves, how we compare ourselves? Why do we do this?

"or to gossip about others"-Why do you think people do this? Have you ever assumed something and realize it was totally different than what we had thought? Have you ever been a victim of gossip? How did it make you feel when you found out?

"Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love. "-They always said the Word is stronger than the Sword. At one tyme I can say yes to each of these questions. Would this allow me to use the power of my words for truth or Love? How can we use our words to insure the direction of compassion, truth and Love?

As you can see, each part of this paragraph is a stepping stone, the whole creates the bridge. If one is out of place, we might get a little wet getting across. We will get across. I asked these questions not to create chaos or confusion, but to see how we perceive things. If you like to respond and post your thoughts, they will be very welcomed, if you choose not that is fyne also.

Each of us holds a piece of the puzzle. Together we can try to see the bigger picture. Honestly we are all teachers and students of each other, is how we can see our ownselves.

Walk In Peace
